Old culture marbel bath tub and enclosure.
Followed by tape and floating with thinset mortar and fiberglass tape.
The shower bench was constructed and tiled.
The tile was then installed.
The tile was installed with a travertine deco design.
The shower floor tile is 2” x 2” mosaic.
The accessories install were the shampoo caddy, soap dish, and towel bar.
Grout used on this project was bone .
Final installation of the showerhead and faucet trim.
The double showerhead installation ( fixed and hand-held).
The caddy grab bars were installed.
The Tub to Shower Premium entails the following:
Culture marble tub enclosure and the backerboard removal.
Culture marbl bathtub was also removed.
The foundation was accessed to convert the bathtub drain to a shower drain line.
The shower faucet was replaced along with all the plumbing.
The new plumbing was raised and a new faucet installed.
The walls were reinforced and the curb was installed.
The shower pan installation was next.
Reinforcements for the grab bars were installed.
Installation of the water and mold proof backerboard was next.
THE CREMA ANTIQUA TUB TO SHOWER CONVERSION
This project consisted of the following:
This tub to shower conversion is in Crema and Brushed Nickel
Install 3" wide stone feature strip in Cerma and amber.
Trim tile color is Crema tumbled travertine 2” x 4” caps.
Tile caddy recess area in Crema and tumble travertine.
Install 2” x 2” anti-slip Noce tumbled travertine tile on shower floor.
Grout out all tile work in Sandstone.
Install 3 stainless steel grab bars .
Install 1 towel bar/grab bar in brushed nickel.
Installation of the faucet trim and shower head in brushed nickel.
Install the frameless sliding shower door in brushed nickel.
These sliding door panels are frameless and compliment the tile design
Installation of a new counter top, sink, and faucet
Installation of the bathroom floor tile was done in a windmill pattern.
Replaced the toilet.
Textured, primed, and painted complete bathroom.
Ezaccess door hinges were also installed.
Deconstruction and preparation of this bathroom.
Remove the shower faucet trim pieces.
Remove the tiled tub enclosure and expose the stud walls.
Remove the existing tub/shower faucet.
Reconstruction phase was as follows:
Access the foundation and modify drain system to install shower drain.
Frame in and reinforce shower stalls walls.
Frame-in caddy recesses to be tiled in later .
Install 2” x 12” reinforcements between studs to support grab bars later.
Make all modifications to the water supply lines needed.
Installation of the new shower faucet.
Install backerboard and tape and float with thin-set mortar.
Construction of the cinder block shower bench.
Installation of 12" x 12" Cerma porcelain tile on all shower walls.
Installation of 6" x 6" Cerma deco row tiles.
Install 3" wide stone feature strip in Cerma and amber.
